Kendrick Forest Products buys standing timber. We pay for
our timbers in full prior to harvesting unless the landowner
prefers otherwise. We have a large market for veneer
logs and lumber logs. Our logging crews are trained to safely
harvest timber by notching, hinge cutting, and using
directional felling as well as wearing personal protection
wear ensure safe removal of your quality timber.

Kendrick Forest Products has two staff logging crews that
harvest the timbers to meet customer expectations. Maintaining
a close relationship with the end user plays a major role
in the marketing and sale of the logs. Logs poorly manufactured,
cut at the wrong length or in the wrong species can have a
major impact on the price and the ability to sell. Kendrick
Forest Products works closely with our logging crew and customer
base to ensure the customer gets the product they desire and
the landowner gets the price they deserve.
There are over 100 million board feet of trees harvested
in Iowa annually. The annual rate of re-growth as reported
by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources is 150 million
feet. Proper forest management will increase the value of
your timbers by periodic income through timber sales, healthier
trees and improved wildlife.
If you have trees for sales, please contact us with the following
information:
1) Location of timbers
2) Number of acres
3) Approximate number of trees and size of trees
